Hello lovely ladies,
As some of you know, I started a make-up course in January at DallesGo ♥ – promise I’ll come back to that in a separate post as I’ve got so many amazing things to tell you about it, that a paragraph here just wouldn’t be enough.
I have my classes on Monday and this week it was a bit more special as we’ve got properly introduced to Bioderma! 😀
So the class started an hour late as from 6:30 to 7:30 a very nice guy from Bioderma joined us and talked us through what the brand stands for and all the product ranges they have. You can check them all out here.
What I really liked about this whole presentation was the attitude of the Bioderma representative. Of course he’s got ‘speaking talent’ as he’s a sales-man – he must advertise his products and make us buy them – but he was also very honest, opened and direct. He told us what these products can and can-not do and didn’t try to bullsh** us by promising wonders and miracles… or maybe he’s just that good at his job…who knows…
The point is, he made me understand how these products were created (intensive studies, years of research and clinical trials – if that’s how they’re called), he made me really trust this brand – even though I haven’t personally tried any of their products yet – and he made me wanna run to the store and get every product they have and layer them one-by-one on my skin :))))
I must admit that until this Monday, I was a bit confused… They have so many ranges and products and my skin is such a pain in the a** that I was really afraid to buy something, thinking I would make a terrible choice and my money would just go down the drain for nothing… But after this presentation, I know what-product-does-what and how I can mix and match them according to my skin type.
I’ve tried some of their products – on other people – at the make-up class and I must tell you, they work amazing on the skin before applying make-up. They get absorbed into the skin really fast, the have great textures, you can mix and match them according to your skin type and they don’t mess up your make-up. But for this we have to remember one golden rule: LAYERS!
Don’t apply the cream/serum too heavily at first! It’s better you apply it in layers in order not to over-saturate your skin, especially if you wanna put some make-up over it! Otherwise, not even the best foundation in the world is going to stay in place! Layers Layers Layers! And remember, this rule is also golden when it comes to make-up: from base, foundation, concealer to eye shadow, blush, lipstick or gloss.
The products I had the chance to mess around with are the following: Hydrabio Serum – form normal or mixed skin, Sensibio Eye Contour Gel – for ALL eyes 😀 and Sebium Pore Refiner for oily skin with dilated pores. ♥
As I’ve already said, these worked amazing on my models and I can hardly wait to try them on my own skin. I don’t really know when that’s gonna happen but some Bioderma products are clearly on my wishlist now! 😀
To cut this short – I’m not going into any more details as I haven’t tried the products on myself yet and I would just be reproducing what I’ve heard today and I that’s not why I’m here – I’m really glad I had the chance to actually ‘meet’ this brand! 🙂 So thank you, DallesGo and Bioderma Romania!
And, if that wasn’t enough, me and all my colleagues got to take home a lovely little present: a tiny little white bag containing Bioderma’s most popular product, Sensibio H2O – micelle solution. ♥ ♥ ♥ YAAAY! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ♥ ♥ ♥
I’ve been wanting to try this pink baby for a very long time, but always found more pressing matters that needed my wallet :))
But now, thanks to these lovely guys, I can have my time with it! ♥
I’m not going to ask you if you tried this, cause I know most of you probably did and I’m the only one who’s been living – willingly – under a rock :)))
But I am going to ask you if you tried any other Bioderma product/s or other dermato-cosmetics that you loved, or not. So, have you? What do you think? What do you like, what do you hate? …please give me a head’s up here 😛
Thanks for visiting my blog, I hope you enjoyed it and I really hope to see you again around here! Please Like, Comment, Share or/and Subscribe! ♥
Hugs and kisses from the little mouse behind Mice Work! :*
